I love all the ships you guys have done...but everytime I try to DL anything they are always somekind of RAR file. What is a RAR file? Do I need something special to DL them or maybe my Firefox has gone nuts?

You need WINRAR.

It's similar to WINZIP.

Hmmm... I thought I put these up as a ZIP figuring most people had that....the borg ships, the niagara, and the dauntless should be zips... let me know if these aren't, i'll see what i can do...

WINRAR will open both zip and rar so i'd suggest getting that also

I've tried the Federation Niagara Class and it looks good but i'm not going to use it because all the hardpoints are rubbish. I'll wait for the finil version hope that it has plenty of hardpoints inside and out, could you place about 2-4 hardpoints inside the warp nacells for the engines please.

Yes - the hard poitns on all these ships are not placed with much accuracy (some of the borg are even done in space) a GOOD way to get by that is to use the UDFM (Ultimate Design Freedom Mod) from Rasori that is in the Gal Civ 2 Library...With this you can use the blank version of all the weapons/engines/defenses and they wont' be seen and can be used as endless hardpoints (all items work, plus they all add another hard point)

I cant seem to access the site anymore..is it up and working yet..or did it change..I know it was down for a bit..but was suppose to be up.

I can't get to it either, IE or Firefox.

I was looking forward to downloading some of these ships and stomping my neighbors into the ground with some Federation firepower

That would explain it. I had been on the site before and downloaded a couple ships.
I wonder why they closed up shop.
