How do I get images to appear in my posts?

Sounds interesting, I like the idea.

I've had an idea for something very similar in mind for a while now, though it'd be a bit different. It'd be set somewhat further into the future, races would be alliances and i'd want to add political parties/systems too.

Why Austria? Why the powerless Japanese Emperor as head? And why Napolitano instead of Prodi?

Good mod, my only complaint is that all of the race bonuses are the same.

It's not Austria, it's the EU, a collection of all the other EU members.
I used Napolitano instead of Prodi because he is the President, isn't he?

Finland is the current Council of the EU, presided by European Council Matti Vanhanen. Perhaps a better face would be José Barroso, head of the European Commission, the executive body of the EU (Portguese if you wondered).

Koizumi and Prodi are both head of government, which seems a more realistic qualification than head of state. After all, you chose Merkel instead of Köhler too.

What about Russia and India? They seem far more likely candidates to get into space than Italy. Also, think of Indonesia, Pakistan, etc.

The mod seems awfully Eurocentric now.

I might downgrade some of the european nations to minors in the future.

Can anyone supply me with other Thalan portraits to use for minor races?

I've reconsidered which nations would be likely to get into space and have drawn up a list of nations to use in the future update. I am also going to include some minors.

I wondered, on what did you base your list? Population, GDP, military expenditures, etc? Or did you just figure these would be the ones?

I came up with a set of 10 that includes pretty much the entire world:

1. Great-China: China, Taiwan, Philipines, part of Indochina
2. Great-India: India, Nepal, Burma, part of Indochina
3. Coalition of the Willing: United States, Great-Britain, Australia, Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi-Arabia, Israël, Poland, etc.
4. Islamitic Union: Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Syria, North-Africa (Islamitic part), etc.
5. Great-Japan: Japan & Korea [North-Korea has been conquered and reunited with the South]
6. Pan-Russian Union: The former Soviet Union, Serbia, Rumenia, Moldavia
7. South-American Populist Union: Venezuela, Bolivia, Cuba, Mexico
8. South-American Free Trade Union: Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, etc.

I'm thinking of including a plant race and wanted to know what people thought about my skills in Paint:

In responce to anarchista, I based it roughly on economic power, but am updating it to have more asian races etc.

what about Alaska!? you must have Alaska! (I'm not from Alaska, don't think I am, not the there is something bad in Alaska but i'm from CA...)

Isn't Alaska just a US state though?

To the average american, the only difference between a state and a country is the U.S. military usually won't invade a state...usually.

I've decided to include a campaign. Any thoughts and/or ideas for it wanted.

What about doing when they first left Earth, or when they first found each other again, you could make it so your the thalans whatching them expand into the galaxy, these are just some ideas you could use.

I've just been making a similar mod myself, although using images of the the puppets from Team America.

I've only added Kim Jong Il and the DPRK so far, because I've hit a brick wall over the dialogue. I copied the GC2Conversations file to my mod folder and edited it, but it still shows the default race text. I don't want Kim sounding like the Korx! He should always open by saying Herro!

In a way, the Black Knights are equivalent of the Dread Lords and will faeture in the campaign.
