Firefox browser problems

Lots of problems with the galciv website with Firefox

Does this site support the Firefox browser because there are a lot of problems that happen when I try to browse around with it. For instance when I tried to post a message it gave me this....

That was ALL it gave me, there was no message box below it to type a message, at first i figured maybe i post my message on another section so i just put in the stuff and click post message which then gave me this...
That was very weird.

Also, it seems as no matter how many times I register the game it doesnt detect it. I register the game when I'm logged on and everything and if I go to the downloads section, it still wont let me download anything but the Demo. I thought this might have been a cookies problem but my Firefox settings allows cookies and FF even lets you look at the cookies and it shows that I have various cookies from galciv2.com and stardock.com. The only way I am able to fully use this site and type this post is with Internet Exlorer and I REALLY don't like IE....I abhor it. I've searched this froum and found that there are a couple people with problems with FF but my main issue is that I can't download anything, even mods in the metaverse. I dont really care about not being able to post in the forum because I doubt I would post much anyways but the not being able to DL anything kinda ticks me off. So does galciv2.com support Firefox or is there something I'm doing wrong? my FF version is quite new (1.5.0.4) Thanks for any help.

I use firefox without any problems. Do you have the latest edition?

This happens to me on normal internet explorer.

P.S. how do you get images to the forums like you just did? I can't seem to get to do what I want to do. I know I can use external links like photobucket, but it downsizes it.

Works fine for me in 1.5.0.4. Check that you're not restricting javascript and make sure you don't have any plugins that may be changing rendering in some way.

same here, i get no consistent errors. when i do it appears they are problems with the server itself. there is a plugin that allows you to open ie tabs in firefox. if you can get the job done within ie when you catch an error like that perhaps a ie tab would help.

quick edit in photoshop cropping and saving and using a hoster to host the image to the site.

cropping is cutting out the unwanted parts of the photo to make it smaller take up less space.

Thanks, but how do you put them on? I see insert image button, but do I do some thing like:
mydocuments/mypictures

Or something like a link?

It has to have been uploaded somewhere first--you can't simply put an image from your computer straight into a forum post.
