Not really, since the entire tree is visible from the start in-game.

Not really, since a tiny portion of the tree is visible from the start in-game.

There is a button that expands the tech tree view to full screen. Run the game in a high resolution as well, and you can easily see quite a large part of the tree on one screen.

Also, play a game or two where you do a lot of researching and you'll have the whole thing memorized anyway.

wasn't there someone who posted an interactive tree on this site?

I can't follow those links even after I cut and paste them in my browser and eliminate the space.

I like my paper tech tree, I refer to it constantly even through I have played loads of games, looking a bit tatty now, no doubt it will eventually come apart at the seams like my civilization one did

Seen a few comments attacking the tech tree in other posts, I really, really like the GC2 tech tree, its straight forward and easy to understand. Civilization could be well confusing and Hearts of Iron was mind bogglingly complicated. so

Last point the hidden techs like subspace rebounder, NLC's etc... r great too...

Remove the space in between the "H" and the "TTP://"  in the links and you'll be okay. I had to add a space since our wonderful forums breaks the links even more so if it happens to detect h t t p : / /  GRRRRRRR

Dark-Star, like Kosty said, even with the space removed the link does not work.
Read all of his post, not just the first few words.

And I just tried it as well, and it did not work for me either.

ok guys, I'm re-uploading the techtree poster now. Apparently, I still had those links in my browser cache, that's why I wasn't getting the 404 Errors, since our main file server went down a few weeks ago, we had lost those. So, in about 10 minutes everything should be re-uploaded. Please note, those files are rather large, so expect to be downloading for a while if you don't have a high-speed connection.

... but still nowhere near the entire tree, and I'm running on 1280x1024. Though really, it's the more that I have to "drag" the tree to find anything that irks me than anything else.
