Gltich with customizing races

Hey there!!

When creating a new game and choosing a race, I am presented with the abilities they have. After choosing a race and clicking next, I am allowed to further customize their abilities. If I choose the abilities tab and click reset, I have 10 points to spend, but there are still some abilities left over.

This is hard to explain, so I will give an actual example.

I start a new game and choose the Altarians as my race, then click next which brings up the "Customize Your Civ" screen. I click the Abilities tab, noticing the Altarians have Economics: +10%, Morale: +20%, Luck +30%, Creativity +30%, and Logistics +5%. Once I switch over to the Abilities tab, I see that I have 0 points left to spend. I want a little more customization, so I click "Reset" which puts me back to 10 points. Now the Altarians are a blank slate, except that they still have Luck: +30%, Creativity: +30%, and Logistics: +5%! If I click on the Luck ability in the list, I can spend 1 point to give myself +25 luck, but it overwrites the +30. If I then uncheck the +25 from the list, the previous +30 does not come back.

What is going on here? Am I missing something or is this a bug? Similar things happen with all of the races, including the custom race.

All races have some inherent abilities either not obtainable by points or to a greater degree than you can get through points. It should stack/revert properly though in cases where it is different from the selectable bonuses.

You cant. They are there for good unless you alter the raceconfig.xml.
However if you do that your game will be inadmissible to the metaverse!
