Starship Bonus

So I found a nice little Class 26 planet, which I immediately colonized. When I did, I also got a random event out of it, which gave the planet a +37% Starship Bonus.

Now I inititially suspected the +37% bonus would increase the HP's of any ship built on this planet. However, when I built a new ship on this planet and compared it to the same ship built on another planet. I couldn't find any difference.

So, does anyone know what exactly this mysterious +37% does? or is the bonus bugged?

Thanks,

Abel

A starship bonus increases both attack and defense of the ships you build, though I don't recall if it is local or if it affects your entire empire (like a military bonus).

Kryo this bonus only gives you an attack bonus right? so if you compare the attack of the two ships there should be a difference in that number increased by that percentage... 1 X .37 is 1.37 on attack no difference because it is rounded numbers but 10 X . 37 is 13.70 so there should now be more considerable change if my math is correct which in this case I am sure it is.

might this affect speed or anything else I doubt strongly...

Local I think

I'm pretty sure it's only local.

it is local and only attack bonus unless this changed in 1.2. if you upgrade it will retain the bonus tho, like the hyperion shipyards +1 speed

I think its local and attack only, but since most of us see attack strengths higher and more often, its possible defense is also adjusted, but iyt hasn't been noticed.

I also think its like the hyperion shipyards bonus.

I may have to look out for this and do a test.
