If TnT would sell B5 rights, I belive many tv companies would breathe life into the Crusade again.Oh B5 nostaligia is hitting me.

Could rav put League of non aligned worlds as one major power.Maybe 2-3 of them.So they have all hulls covered in GC2.I can fairly easy see Drazi,Brakiri and Vree working together to become each major power.

Also i think i have read that Drazi and Brakiri were expending quite much after shadow war.Drazi were building their first cruiser class ship.

Only reason why some races are minor,is it their lack of different size hulls?

It's not just TNT blocking further B5 efforts.
When JMS planned to make the big screen movie Memories of Shadows last year Warner stated that he would have to replace the original actors with more famous and popular ones so it sells better.
So he simply canceled the project.

Guess Jos Whedon would have done the same if he would have had to replace the Firefly crew to get the Serenity movie out.
Though suffice to say that there is absolutely NO fitting replacement for Jewel Staite anyways.

That i didnt know...sux really.I kind of wish JSM went along with it.It would spark some life to B5 and community again.But than i can understand why he canceled project.
Its scary to think that 30 years may pass before new B5 project,like new Battlestar Galactica!

I dont live in US...why was Firefly cancelled!I really liked that show, sometimes bit too much wild west style,but i found it quite unik anyway.It was just 1 season.

also Warner Brothers killed the B5 Collectible Card Game when they didnt renew the license for Precedence. shortly after Precedence was insolvent.

and lets not forget Sierra who canceled the B5 Space Game in 1998...

Haven't found out why exactly Firefly was cancelled but I loved it.

finished Drakh Raider (medium) and Drakh Shuttle (small) today. still wondering what to use as tiny hull for them. I got a Drakh Tanker still which is good as a transport/cargo hull and another version of the drakh cruiser (nearly same hull, but different configuration of engine/weapons).

playing the mod forced me to go out and purchase the entire series on dvd. Man you guys are not good for my wallet.....I had forgotten how freaking sweet the whole series was, now i find myself watching episodes over two and three times, even though ive seen everyone at least a half a dozen already. Keep up the stellar work mod team!

rumors has it that there may be a MMOG for Babylon 5 as well as a new mini-series made by JMS featuring lost episodes from the original show...

I love b5, the reincarnations that they try to make after the original b5 just plan sucked.

Why?

Acting for the most part, the actors sucked, and they didnt hold a candle to the
original cast. IE (Crusades commander EEEK! and the Ranger commander EEEk!)

Story Line- B5 was very well structured and thought out by the creator JMS
it had a beginning, middle and end, just like a play is. It was a master pieace and way ahead of its time (first scifi show to use CGI instead of models)(first American tv show to be an epic IE- every episode had its own thread in the TAPESTRY of the show.


Depth- Lack of depth, the creators in the spin offs didn't feel real and felt more like
a fan film then an actual attempt at a series.

I agree to a acertain extent. However one actor was absolutely brilliant.

a few of the Crusade-Episodes werent all that bad, however I blame TNT for not giving JMS the freedom he needs in order to deliver a great show. TNT wanted more sex and crime. the result was the Crusade Commander and Captain Lockley in a sucky shower-scene for example I was like OMGWTF!

Oh yeah! Awful stuff.
Though completely out of place, I kind of liked the alien X-Files episode.

I have to admit that I didn't like many episodes of B5's season 5 either, btw.
And not only because I was jealous that this Fabio wannabe idiot Byron got to bone Lyta...

And a bit more on topic(the mod):
1) Too bad that the Vorlon Planetkiller model doesn't have the bright blue stripe around the outer rim of the disk.
2) Something is wrong with how the Pak'Ma'Ra were modded. They definitely only build constructors and freighters till the spaceport is full. None of em is launched at any time. Third time now I met them and always the same with the ships.
3) Also EA is always on the losing end from scratch in every game so far.

Acually EA kicked my butt when i played as Centauri,they had few more worlds than me.In year or 2,they and Vorlons decided to end my reign of terror in galaxy

I hate that other alien races build spacestations in my space.I consider that as act of war.Also colonazing worlds in my space.I hope diplomacy in DA is improved so that i can send warning to those that intrude my space in some way.

Yeah warning categories would be a great asset.

I would like to see Dilgar as major power,do they have enough hull sizes to be one?I know they had defenetly Large or Huge by looking on some pictures.
