Cheater, Cheater, Planet Eater!

Sometimes, I like using cheats to pound opponents and create massive fleets, but I can't seem to use them for some reasons. They worked when I played the demo, but they don't seem to work now with the full version and I don't know why. Anyone want to tell me whats wrong? Its not that important, but it'd be appreciated.

What version? There was a bug in 1.2 beta that disabled cheats after a save was reloaded. It seems to be fixed in 1.2 final.

I just updated to 1.2, but the problem started before that.
