First time i've seen freighters armed. They could have wiped out my eco starbases because i thought it was just a freighter...

The AI however treated it just like a freighter and never attacked. Has anyone else seen this ? Imagine an armed scout slipping into your backfield...

some races like to make armed transports. i makes a bit more sense in 1.2 but they still only have 1hp. i breifly concidered making a monster huge trader but it would probably eat all the trade revenue to maintain. if it managed to draw a lot of enemy fire AND survive tho...

you will also notice that they may stop arming them later, dont know why. oh, and one interesting thing is that they concider those ships as warships for purposes of gifting them. or at least they did in earlier versions(havent seen it lately so don't know). i remember one game that i got a bunch of free merchants from the korx . good stufff

Pirates?! I have never seen pirates in the 30 or more games that I have played! I have had the federation vote to put weapons on transports (which come free!) so maybe they voted to put some on transports in your game?

havnt seen the pirates yet, but just saw the use of armed freighters by the ai like 10 min ago thought i would play my first metaverse game and the ai is pounding me with crap like this
