Lots of problems when loading a saved game

I posted this once, but it didn't show up in the forum. So I'll try again without the debug file. Someone else already mentioned that "time stands still" when loading a saved game, ie- movement for all ships is restrored, but no production takes place and date doesn't advance. This problem has been present since the 1.0 version, but is still present in the 1.2 update. Also, now when I load a save other errors are occuring. I've only done this twice, because of the aforementioned problem, but on both occaisions the game screwed up royally. The first time it listed the entire map as "out of range". The second time I was unable to enter some hexes or attack. Is anyone else experiencing similar problems and is there any plan to resolve these issues?

Well, the government holiday is, unfortunately, deliberate. I don't see why they can't disable ship movement too in that time, but meh.

I don't have the other problems, but I DO lose all my Rally Points (I have to set them again for all my colonies, it's a major pain).

It is supposed to prevent cheese, if I remember correctly. I have never found it annoying, just give the turn button an extra click. But losing all rally points, that sounds like a bug.

Everyone who says it's deliberate please link to a quote from Stardock saying so. As far as I'm concerned the turn skip thing is a serious bug. I never encountered the other problems you mentioned though.

The AI, however, won't just skip its turn. Thus, that fix doesn't fully work, and it is still an annoying, major bug.
