1.1 patch and new options

no tech trading and no minor races

Hi all. I have a newb questions.. for the + new options with the 1.1 patch.. like no tech trading and no minor races, how can i access those? I cant find them in the options tab. thanks in advance

You're 2 patches behind - uninstall, install and patch to 1.2. That being said though they're only available on the galaxy setup screen when you start a new game, not in the actual OPTIONS menu.

edit: WOW I just noticed the CPU intensive algorithms button (was that in 1.11?), better give that a try

Maybe he typoed 1.2 and put down 1.1.

Anyways, to answer your question, No Tech Trading and No Minor Races can be found on the first screen of a new game (where you select the galaxy size, adundance of planets/stars/anomalies, etc.).

CPU Intensive was added in 1.2 Final. It was coded in during 1.2 Beta 2 I believe but wasn't available. Now I have to give it a shot....
