Installing mods

Hi guys I've been having a painful morning trying to download a mod. Specifically the Dread Lords one, I have extracted the files and gone into the file tree to the mod folder. I can see example and default but that's where i'm lost. What do i do next? I've tried creating folders but that doesn't seem to show up on the actual game itself and mods are enabled and i can use the example mod fine. Help! I've also tried looking at info on forums but nothing seems to work.

I have the same problem , the mod that allows you to play as the Dread Lords doesn't seem to have a filetype at all.

I haven't been able to use any other Mod folder other than the default or example. So I have been placing my mods in the default folder.

If you copy and edit the ModDescription XML file into a folder, that folder appears in the mod selection window.

Sadly, there is no set mod folder that you can copy file too that will automatically work.

You need to download the mod and read the readme file in order to determine where the mod should be placed. This usually answers the question.
