Ally question

It seems once you have formed ally with the AI then they will never break it, and I can't even attack them anymore. My question is the game is too easy if the ally can't be broke even the game is set at high difficulty so is there any possiblity that this can be changed in the future?

you can attack them if you break the alliance. go to the relations (or something like that) screen in foreign policy and click the civ in question and click the "Break Alliance" button. its where it would normally say "Trade Embargo".

THanks for the info but is that the case that AI will never think about break ally from their side?

Think so, yeah. AI never breaks an alliance. Or at least, never seems to.

So The AI should be improved to think about it.

By the way, how do I set my post to show my metaverse score logo?

try logging in using the same screen name as your metavers name that you log in with on the site

ah yes, and make sure you use IE in the metaverse, cause you won't see the button with Firefox...

The whole point in creating an alliance is so that you are assured they won't declare war with you. What other reason is there, aside from the hope of help in the case someone else declares war on you?

There is a random event that will make an ally turn against you. Also, if you attack the ally of an ally, they will declare war on you.

Apart from that, I don't know if alliances can be broken by the AI. It's never happened to me, but then I've never tried to annoy them enough to do that. They probably should, if your relations start to drop, but I suspect that they don't.

I for certain know they can break alliances. In a game of me, 4 struggling races, and the large Drengin, I allied with all the races but the Drengin. They soon declared war with me, 2 races followed our alliance, but the other two broke it. The game doesn't tell you if they break the alliance, so it makes many seem like they never break them.

And I also found that two of my ally can be enemies too but I can still keep the ally relationship with both of them. Is this weired?

I think I have seen that before but I don't usually see an alliance between to races very often.

I've never seen that I think the AI alliance does not exist at all. The reason is maybe to reduce the difficulty lvl of the game to prevent two or more strong AI to be alliance and defeat the human players in a very short period of time.
