In my most recent game (as the Yor), I got quite a surprise when I explored the Altaria system -- it had only four planets, and Wisp, the other habitable planet, was gone. I am not sure if this is a bug or not. I did notice that habitable planets in general were in quite short supply, despite my generally using the "Common" setting.
