One Planet Challenge

Is it possible to play a game where all the races only get one planet.
There is a one city game in Civ 4 and I was wondering if it was
possible to do the same thing in GC2.

It shouldn't be too hard to create a custom map with just one planet for each race.

If you choose "rare" for stars, habitable planets, regular planets, you'll likely get just one planet per race. I played a large galaxy with 9 races with rare for everything, and I don't believe anyone got more than one planet.

I had one like this too. Rare stars rare planets rare hab and the largerst galaxy size with 9 races. ended up with 1 system for each player, some got the extra planet in the system.
I have one system for each primary race and the minors were stuck in a corner. 5 minors in a 5 -class 15 planet system
