attack of the pirates!!!!!

ok, I was playing a game, and got the pirates random event thing. well, i found 2 pirate fleets. there were 2 ships in one fleet, and it had an attack of well over 1500!!! the other fleet had an outrageous number of ships in it, and its attack was about 700. i know starbases and building on planet with certain improvements can affect this, but i didnt think pirates could build, or own starbases. any ideas?

First of all, I simply don't believe you ... attack well over 1500 with 2 ships is utterly ridiculus and impossible. There is no way one can reach that level even if you have researched every logistic and miniturization and hulls ???

... That is impossible. The strongest two ships could get is a total of 500. 550 with a starbase.

people think pirates have insane bonuses....

although i myself have not experienced them, (thank the luck gods that they ended up ravaging my enemies instead ) i have heard people say that they do have bonuses like extra miniturization and stuff.

i also believe killing them off early helps a little bit...

massive hulls and only weapons can get enormous amounts of fire power i'm not sure if two will reach 1500 but it could come pretty close

How can you tell you are facing pirates??? what color are their ships/fleets?? I have heard of them several times, but have never seen them myself.

Oh I've seen pirate ships, it usually happens close to your world when you all vote on a galactic prison and the vote comes to you... So now you have full of fugitives on your planet and eventually they break through and steal ships ... I had to contend with some of them before their strength depends on what they steal and from who ??? Usually if it's your planet, it's your ships ...

Did you distinguish the difference between pirates and thieves? Pirates don't steal but rob.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but robbers and thieves both steal (take that which does not belong to them) - the main difference is whether the victim is present at the time.....

Here in Canada theft means stealing something with no violence and robbery means stealing something with violence. For example, you pickpocketed without notice or stole things from someone's office without notice that's theft etc... robbery would be snatching a women's purse from her shoulders or robbing a bank by pointing a gun to achieve your purpose.

So have you ever seen that pirates stole something in the sea? They robbed both the halobios and human beings. I think thieves are more kindly but there is always somone in this world likes violence.
Don't treat this matter a culture research, because that will cause a serious lecture. Much more don't tell the others this is a law-involved matter because law empowers you the right to be or not to be a victim.

I believe the 1500 is hp. I have seen pirates with outrageous hit points but 1500 attack is impossible
