Galactic Haiku

Years ago, when Shogun: Total War came out, people would occasionally write haiku poems in the forums. I like the format, and still enjoy writing them for other games; so even though it's not really 'on-topic' for Galactic Civilizations, here are a few I've come up with over the last three months:

The numberless stars
Drift like schools of brilliant fish
Now I cast my net

Proud Drengin cruiser
Alas, my tiny fighter
Makes you obsolete

Nasty Torians
You spawn across my systems
I'll need more garlic

I submit this post
At 3:06 EST
When will it appear?

Actually, I was playing as the Drengin in that game, and I was thinking of garlic as a culinary ehancement.

So few colonies
All surrounded by hordes of
Furious Drengins.

Still my battleships
Venture forth bravely to do
battle with them all.

Three O'clock AM.
How is it so late at night
after a few turns?

Late game, weak neighbour
At least that's what he thinks of me.
Avalanche of my troops wipes him away.

Maso game, insane bonuses
All neighbours brandishing big fleets.
Damn, when I'll learn to stay away?

I'm good, you're good, let's have an alliance.
Here, a gift, or three, ... or ten?
Screw good! Kill the sucker!

Haiku, far-east form of poetry
I've never been any good poet.
Those three lines match my thinking well.
