Create a new shortcut, it should be along the lines of:

C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\GalCiv2.exe" cheat

open a game with the new shortcut

Ctrl + M Adds 10,000bc
Ctrl + B Adds battleship
Ctrl + L Assigns remaining planets to major races
Ctrl + C Clones selected ship
Ctrl + J Completes social projects
Ctrl + 0-9 (NOT on num pad) Hail's major races
Ctrl + H Heals selected ship
Ctrl + R Research current tech (Hold Shift for ALL techs)
Ctrl + N Restart on a new map with new race
Ctrl + S Saves
CTRL+U Takes away Fog of War
Ctrl + T Teleports selected ship to cursor
Ctrl + V United planets meeting
Ctrl + A Upgrades selected ship

Ctrl+N is a cheat?!? I thought it was a convenience for when you get dumped in the corner with just your home system in range.

Save your money...heres one for you (undocumented)


ctrl+shift+p make ALL planets colonizable (raise them to max-36), as long as you have the magical PQ ability (the 8 point ability I think), every single planet in the game will become colonizable with 6+ open spaces
