Hey why hasn't any one replied to this yet, its not that bad!OK I had some spelling mistakes, so what I was young and reckless!
Military starbases are awesome when you have a lot of ships for the bonuses to stack on, and when the fight is in your territory. It is kind of sad, though, when you have moved into enemy territory and your massive "cosmic castle" is a sector behind the front lines and your ships are on their own.
I always go out and build one mil starbase somwhere near the middle of the map for the range and kind of a safe zone for my ships out on the front
