New Monitor kills GalCIv II

Help

I just upgraded to a Samsung SyncMaster 215. I am running a 6800GT with 256 megs and the latest drivers. Galciv II stopped working after the upgrade. I click on start and the screen goes black and bringing up the task manager says it is running but it never comes off of black screen. Any thoughts. I am running the monitor in digital mode. ThanksJIM
