ok explain this..... activation doesn't have to be a nightmare but it always is... and now i cant play the game.

what does it mean 'ensure that it is associated with the email you used' ? my email is not associated with anything since this is the first time i am trying to activate the game.

Recommend going to the Stardock Website and register your game with an appropriate email address. Thank d/l the StarDock Central stuff, install, run, check game and registration information (located in the bottom right of the screeen) have updated registration data sent to email address. If all else fails, stay in SDC and go to chat, log in and go to
/Join #galciv

Ask around there for help and look for an entity named Milksama. That person helped me a couple of times when I was just getting started in GC2 back in Beta days.

Do you really think Stardock is involved in Spyware?
