Proxies like Tor can allow anyone to evade ip bans.

Of course SD could try banning the Tor exit points but there are other annoymous proxies, you can't ban them all.

I.P. bans are easy to get around. Banning the guys CPU SERIAL NUMBER is the way to go....

I wish they would just start silently deleting his posts. No discussion, just gone, and kill the whole thread if he started it. This would require someone's time to monitor the forum carefully for a while, but eventually he'll give up because he's not getting any feedback for his trouble.

My two-year-old yells and throws objects if she's cranky and doesn't think we're paying enough attention. If we just act like it isn't happening, it ends pretty quickly and she's back to normal. I just have to make sure to wait until she's engaged with something else before I go back to clean up the mess...

I don't see why he couldn't have another identity. Especially if stardock gets to the point where they kick him out every time he creates a new account.

Can't Stardock just block his ip(s). His actions are the excact same kind of virulence that brought down the mechwarrior forums. Thank god, this is strategy game, and not an fp like those.

John, they are unable to, since he seems to be using proxy servers. From what I gather from the IRC, some hinted at a way they could find his real ISP, and his actions have been more than enough to get him removed from the internet. The whole banning Bulgaria thing was never implemented, since it is a fairly drastic measure. (I think)

Okay onikazi, the problem is that this is the only computer thats linked to the internet and its not my computer. so its going to take some time to get myself access. But thanks for the invite. I will hopefully talk to you crazy kids soon.
