great luck for pq in huge galaxy

ok, i havent finished the meta level yet, but as i said, its on huge, abundant planets, and in one corner of the map is a 32 class planet an a 26, totaly isolated from the rest of the star systems. yes, it is correct info, a 32 and a 26, and i now own both of them, hehe!!

I found a PQ 26 in my last game. When my colony ship reached it, I got the option of slaughtering aliens for +33% additional PQ! *evil grin*

Two 44s. Of course, I'm using the top planet quality bonus with my custom race. But still. One is all research, one is all factories.

i guess i'm the only one who routinely gets 26+ planets? sometimes 5 or 6 in a single game? I mean from the way u guys talk, u make it seem like they're as rare as the famed precursor library... Less often, but still unremarkable are the 32+ size planets i find myself with.

One time i set my pq bonus so high i turned a class 4 into a class 17...

Hmmm... Never tried the PQ abilities, but I might have to with numbers like that.

That said, I have no PQ bonuses, and I'm currently playing Gigantic with Occaisonal/Common/Common on Habitable/Planets/Stars, and I got around ten planets of PQ 12 or higher within a few weeks of my capital. One system had an 18 with a 21, one had a 28, and the rest were in the low 20's and high teens. In that same game, the Drengin--who conquered me in my last game--only got their capital & the second planet that comes with it, and they're all alone in a far corner of the galaxy.

It's great. I doubt I could get that good even by Ctrl-N abuse (which I didn't do even a single time to get the above setup).

in one of my games i took out the drengin with two transports

i got lucky found them early and decided to go with planet invasin they didnt' stand a chance they had 4 planets and on that rare occasion the surrendered to me

I've seen 2 class 26's in my games - one was mine in one of my early games, the other belonged to the Korx in the last one I finished - tho they surrendered it to me when they were getting hammered by the Torians . Never seen anything better than that.

In my last game after conquering everyone I had at least 4 planets over 32 PQ. I had the 1st pq bonus and was a neutral society. It was alot easier building on planets with soo many tiles. I did not start with any of them but I did end up with them. 2 of them were 35, one was 34 and one 32. If I am not mistaken the neutral gave me a bigger bonus to pq then the pq. When I researched the ability to open up all the tiles some planets went up a little and others spiked alot (not sure why the difference).
