How to stop others race join your empire if you have too much influence?

I mean , when your empire have more influence than the others , all of the others races star system start to join your empire and they gonna be dead. So the game end. I don't want them to dead.

I don't know if it works, but you could trade them influence, then their influencebubble should increase, so they won't surrender.

You could also give them their planets back. In the trade screen you can trade planets, so just trade any planet that converted by influence back to them for free, or some $$ if you are feeling greedy.

If it's just one planet, and it's clearly going to start a chain reaction, you can build a reeducation camp on it before giving it back. That will put an end to it flipping. If it's more than one, then I don't know. Maybe build them an influence base around their planets and trade the base to them is all I can think of.

That will take care of the not winning part, but doesn't work on stopping them from surrendering to you, just merely stops you from winning the game on your next turn if you have met all the criteria, such as controlling X% of the galaxy.

Unless the folks surrendering is the absolute last race, look at trading them planets they had and your now responsible for away. Unless you have an insane amount of cash on hand to upgrade and build fleets to guard them, that is.

Good luck and Good hunting,

Stop building up so much influence. I've never actually attacked someone with influence without starbases. Oh, I've had planets flip, but that's only because we were sharing a star system. But if you're not artificially buffing your influence, I've never seen a game where other nearby civilizations just start surrendering to you.

Don't build mega-population planets.

I had a game where I wanted just a military victory, but somehow the influence victory was also on.
The game told me I would win in 10 turns with an influence victory--but I didn't want that. I spent
all that time getting ready to take over the AI's planets.

Well, the answer was to declare war on one of them. You can't win an influence victory if you are at war.

I don't know whether this helps or not. I worked for me.

it would be nice though to have a now cultural flip option and then cultural boundries could just give you tourist money instead of flipping enemy plaents which would be cool for the guy that wants to concor every single planet by brute force

I have an idea , let's them can build re-education center on every planet by modding. Open file PlanetImprovements.xml and change S-type superproject to S-type normal and decrease price from 600 to 60 .

but don't know if it work
