crashing after auto run screen HELP!

my game wont evan start up, it keeps saying "This is not a valid image" and shuts off, then tells me to undate my direct X to version 9, i have version 9!!! and i em prity damn shure i have adaquit video drivers, i can play doom 3, eve online, planet side, with no problams, but galciv crashes right after auto run screen, i have set the desk top to the right propertie settings, now what????

Because galciv's graphics own the aforementioned. Please post a debug.err.

galciv needs directX 9.0c - there are previous 9.0 versions that wont work - check if you have 9.0c, maybe thats why it wants u to upgrade

Do you have a file called "debug.err" in your galciv2 program folder? This is usually c:\program files\stardock\totalgaming\galciv2.

If it is there, please post the contents of the file here. (You can use Notepad to open it)
If it is not there, please try reinstalling the game. If that does not help, let us know.
