sugestion for precursor ships

i know that there is a corvett class and a ranger class of ships, but what about the other types? they should have more types, say a scout that was not as strong as the corvett, ect. that way, if you r lucky enuf, you might have a artifact battle in space with those realy teched up space cannons!!!

Corvettes= bleargh. You can't get them after year 2, by which time they're normally obsolete, and I use them as cannon fodder to waste my opponents moves, while I prepare an uber fleet of doom. Even those rangers don't last long once the enemy starts using PD.

I've had ranger fleet battles. The rangers (7 of them) got demolished by 4 Torian cruisers.

the core hulls usually suck, so its better to just design your own warships.
