Focus is wacky!

There are times when I will consider changing the focus of production on a planet.

Suppose I have 8 turns left in building a ship. I already have the military focus on. I consider
speeding up social production and so I turn it on instead. Naturally that increases
the time for building the ship. If I turn the military focus back on, the turns left won't
necessarily be the same as before. It may be 12 turns to complete the ship.

Am I being punished for looking at different options? Maybe it's not a bug but a feature.

I've seen this a lot though not all the time.

Never noticed that before - I have noticed that if you use the the focus buttons on a newly colonised world the costs for maintenance and production change and if you remove the focus they dont change back.

I always find the number of turns left is a bit screwy, like its a rounded up or down value so it only displays as integers.

Last night I was researching a tech that goes from 8 turns to 6 turns in just one (hey I aint complaining!). Maybe a whole lot of labs just got finished that turn and I didnt notice.

In 1.1 they changed how your production is distributed if you see some small arrows next to the hammer for social production this mean that it is being redirected to military production.. so when you set focus for social production you will see a decrease in military production because of the redirect to military production...
