NO COLONIZING

try uninstalling and then reinstalling and then patch it again? thats the only thing that I can think of that might help.

Ive got the new version 1.11 (I think) and the game does not let me colonize any planet. I also cant tell what kind of planet it is, 1-10. Ive never played to old version however I dont think Im missing anything. There is just NOTHING in the colony ship window or the planet that says ANYTHING about even the option to colonize, please help, thanks

You should download the raw files from the site if you have been using Stardock Central..

The Files are secured so that people cannot steal these and just use them..

when you have the file downloaded right click it and press properties and turn off the safety feture on the bottom of the panel..

Then reinstall the patch..

Then have fun with the game...

Hmmm....perhaps I'm misreading things but I think the solution to this problem is simpler than the above posters think:

There's no option to colonize anywhere. You just select the colony ship, then right click on the planet you wish to colonize. When the ship gets there (which will probably take several turns) a new window should pop up giving you the chance to rename the planet.

I would assume that he has tried to do this before random50 since he says it does not let him colonize..

make sure you have nothing selected and click the planet itself a new rectangular box should appear on the bottom interface and tell you all the stats of the planet..

I gather from the above statement that you've never played before. Keep in mind, that not all planets are habitable.

thanks for the replies guys. no the rename thing never comes up, and no planet stats EVER come up. when I click on a planet there are just question marks .

What are RAW files on stardock? thanks again
