planet cost

anyway to mod how much AI pays for planets?

i've started a new game and am playing as a custom race (Saiyans) who conquer and then sell planets, but planets dont fetch any real money, only about 200 bc, so is there anyway to alter this to about 1000?

thanks

Explain sell? Maybe you should try increasing both your diplomatic ability and the planet quality.

planet price is a combination of buildings, planet quality, and population size, along with a few more things (never looked at the code, so i dont know) but conquering a planet then selling it right away (just like dbz Saiyans) isnt that profitable because you just spent:

XXX bc in troop transports
XX billion people as troops in conquering the planet

In one game, I am playing as the Drengins. I am by far the most powerful force in the map. I am atleast twice as powerful as any other civilization. I am playing the level above Normal, though I forget the exact name of it. Guess how I got about a quarter of my worlds. I bought them for about 13 000 bc each from the Yor, my allies. The planets were ones they had just conquered from the Torians, but if they didn't sell them, the Yor would be about twice as strong as they are currently. I believe that is a pretty big exploit if you are a rich enough civilization (which I am).

by sell i mean trade with other civilisations, so is there a way to increase the base price, or a way around it?

I don't know how intelligent the AI is so don't make fun of me if this is a stupid idea.
Try building influence starbases all around their planets so that their influence isn't as effective. Then maybe they would be more interested in buying...

i'll try that thanks, but i'm wondering if there's a way to make them actually easily sellable, i mean, last night, to my ally i offered all my planets (13 in total, with cutting edge technology on them, and all but 4, above 6 Billion) and he offered me... 600bc!

so i was hoping there would be an easier way to increase the base AI value, i've seen it the technology tree document that the AI has a value for the technologies, so surely there'd be one for planets?

nope, didn't work, what i really want is to mod some files so i can generally sell them higher, i mean a planet should be worth say 1000BC at least surely.
