Policy of Stardock towards abusive posters.

For the last day or so, a few members of the forum have been feeding a troll. And the problem hasn't gone away (Yeah, stupid thing to do I know)

What's Stardock's policy for posters who are repeatedly discriminatory, sexist, trolling and abusive? Psycho doesn't belong near decent people. I'm asking this to see if Stardock are going to ask him to stop insulting people with lines like
YOU ARE CLOSE TO MY ASS F***INGAY!
and
hey the BITCHFAERY R U WANT TO BLOW ME?
, or if they are allowing free speech to triumph over morals? I know sexual harrasment etc on the net have no place in court. If they did, he'd probably be in court already.

I know I have retaliated close to (or in) kind, and if he was to get kicked, I'd be fully deserving of being kicked too. It'd be worth never being able to post or comment just to avoid having to read his bull crap constantly.

yea, there really needs to be a 'report to moderator' button, its a staple on all boards that I've been to because its essential to board management. Most ppl here are good ppl and act appropriately for the forum, but theres always a few trolls, etc which have to be taken care of.

edit: I haven't read that big thread myself, but just looking at the first page of it, I knew it was some kind of crappy post that should have been deleted anyway.

Well, that's the problem. It's the net, so there isn't really a law against the way he's acting. Stardock own this forum and make the rules, which is why I'm asking if they can/will do anything about it.

not to mention that guy writes like he is drunk or stoned.... and is using terrible spelling and grammar

and no you shouldn't take that abuse from him, behavior like he is doing would get him quickly banned in most places.

Spelling he puts down to being foreign, but considering he claims to use sexist terms from a dictionary then it's bull.

He also tries to use nonsensical phrases, turns everything into "You hate me cos I'm too manly for you to have sex with", and thinks it's all a joke.

Please, ban him. And, since I probably have sunk too far to his level, me too. But please Stardock, please just get rid of him. Don't set precedent on the forum for idiotic spammers to think they can insult and abuse everyone and get away with it.

its still there on the GalCivII section, its the 20-30 minute delay in updating issue that this forum has so according to the forum, it hasn't been deleted yet, because the timer is 20-30 minutes in the past.

People get awfully worked up on the internet-and a lot of you guys seem to forget that the person who is insulting you does not know you or you him-they are just some sad act killing time-
so really WHO CARES? Ignore them-they are just trying to get attention and are really not worth you wasting precious energy typing back at them-unless you enjoy winding them up which I admit I occassionaly do.
But really do not get worked up about it-do not take their insults personally as they are some random loser who has the time to waste insultuing strangers online. THEY ARE NOT WORTH YOUR TIME.
Honestly guys-use your head!
Getting angry or upset is what these losers want -a reaction- so don't react!

Like they said - Don't Feed the Trolls.

But if necessary, occassionally you need to sponsor a Troll Hunt.

When that occurs, the mods should change their sig lines:
