Despite all the updates to the game, the influence on my game still behaves erratically. I had a civ with around 10 planets. Immediately after I built an economy starbase, the influence borders decreased dramatically. This has happened building other starbases/colonies as well. It will stick around this much lower level for a bit, increase a bit, and then suddenly jump back to where it was. This is also the case after loading a saved game. After loading, my influence borders are dramatically smaller than when I saved. After a few turns (always a different number), it pops back to where it was. Anybody else have this happen? Could this be another bug in the game that just hasn't been addressed yet?
