Zip the ship data file and add it in the folder C://My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2\ships. All is now worked!
Add ship in Metaverse: Go in the Metaverse and click "Add Mod". Add image of the ship and zipped data file of ship.

It's funny how people just DEMAND things. Maybe if say there is an incentive. Like letting thoe with talents create mods for this game. They would then turn it over to Stardock who will look at it, and then post it for downloads for a fee of about $0.25 to $1.00 american. The profit is then shared between Stardock and the creator of the mod. It's a win-win situation. Well, there's probably legal issues, using copy righted materials like BSG. But those can still be free. But any original work can be charged.

Well that's my two cent.

That would effectivly kill any modding community. Most people mod games for fun, or to convert it into something that they enjoy playing, most people do it because they want to share thier own personal vision of a game with others for free, because who wants to pay for a mod any way... its a mod not a full game and why charge someone for a mod when they already spent money on a full game. Many times i buy games just so i can play some sweet FREE mod that has been made for that game. Because of this, the game popularity grows, and the mod community is benefited with more gifted talent. And the OP didnt demand anything, he just asked if some one could do it, or is already in the process.
