Whatever happened to the auto-launch option from Gal Civ I?

I miss that option when I forget about my ships!

I think you should be able to launch ships on the page with the Galactic News!

Right-clicking on the blue boxes that scroll down the right of your screen when ships are completed launches the ship and centres on it.

I agree that it is a pity that the GC1 auto-launch option doesn't exist in GC2. You can substitute it by setting a waypoint on the tile where ships are launched, but this is tedious when you have many planets.

Are you speaking of the find button in the corner

I personally used that all the time to find lost ships or things I had set on autopiolot (sorry for my spelling error.)

You say that even when the very post above yours tells you that you can infact easily launch ships when they are built.

I think he means automatically takes the ship OUT of orbit and parks it next to the planet Automatically.
IE: Not having the player click anything.

That would be very nice. I've forgotton more than once about a colony ship and lost High quality planets because of it.
