How Does Metaverse Scoring Work?

...and why isn't there a place to find the answer?

I've searched and searched the GalCiv II web site for a place where the scoring system is explained by someone, anyone in any capacity - official or otherwise. There are a few random answers to isolated issues here and there, but nothing that just lays it out in a simple, outlined format.

Anyone know what I can go to find something like that?

nobody really knows anymore, it has changed so much with each version, its hard to say, military might, etc.... basic rule of thumb is try to be way above everyone else on the charts in the game, the higher you are, the better you are doing in each category which means better score.

I've had some really weird results on the Military column at the end of several games. I've obviously destroyed everyone, with 500+ kills, and 10-20 losses, yet my score is barely above that of my subject races.. or sometimes I'm even second place after scoring a conquest victory.

Players at the Galactic Core web site (http://www.thegalacticcore.com/forum/portal.php) have deciphered the algorithms for the scoring. Come visit us there.
