not even in the demo. and thats pretty wierd, must be a fluke of coding or something.

Yes, but only once when I've generated a galaxy with an ungodly amount of stars in it.

If you go into the .xml file for custom planets, the custom race area has the labels "Custom Star" and/or "Custom Planet", at least they were last time I looked I believe.

My guess is that it is a variable bug and forgot to use the custom name it was supposed to, or something like that. Other bugged variables appear often in dialog:

"Hail! [YourEmpireName]..." is one of them that appears a lot. This one appears usually when speaking to the Terrans when you are much more powerful than them.

"...What is [LeaderGenderHeShe] thinking..." (At least I think that was the variables name) Don't recall ever selecting gender, and all leader pics appear to be of males. This one appears in the planets details window in the box with someone's opinion when approval is very low and not close to defecting from cultural influence.

hmm, maybe it ran out of names to use? I'm sure there are hundreds of star names to use but its possible. although personally I'd like to see some real star names like Vega, Deneb, Altair, Bellatrix, etc instead of some of the names such as Florin, Wardell, Gladstone, and Iversonia because well, I just don't feel like they are sci fi or origional enough. Some are kinda origional like Kwilas, or Cordelia (VERY similar to Corellia).

yes i have, it was the home planet for my custom race i was playing as. the planets followed the pattern too but i renamed those.

I haven't seen that one yet in the demo, I guess because there is a limited set of names, maybe 20 or something because of the limited map I can do in the demo, so the names get repeated over and over.
