AI (Drengi) Does not utilise planets bonusses

I was playing a game: Large Galaxy, Tough.

While I was happily expanding my influence a Drengi planet (Class 18) switched to me. So I took a look at my newly acquired planet. What did I see to my enjoyment? A Precursor mine! What did I see to my amazement? They had built a entertainment center on it! Furthermore there was a 100% lab bonus square and they had built a entertainment center on this as well! It made absolutly no sense especially as the planet had just 5bil people and there were about 10 squares still open. Why do they built on bonusses first and then the wrong building?

It wouldn't be so bad as they didn't built on it but building the wrong building? Could this be a bug where the AI builds entertainment centers on bonus squares? Maybe others have also noticed that they build the wrong type of buildings on bonus squares?

The planet originally belonged to the Altarians so it could be them that build the centers.

It sounds like there's a bug in some of the underlying APIs.

The Drengin definitely do normally make use of the tiles correctly.

Does my head in when the AI's build a wonder, superproject on a bonus tile as u can not demolish/upgrade them. That's just wrong!

U calling me a ugly retard Moonstruck?

Wanna fight about it?

You took it through influence. They built up the influence and morale on that planet to counteract your influence. This is them reacting to your strategy. It would have probably worked better if they built influence starbases, but II'm not sure this is a bug - except they should have used the unused tiles. I say this because I often see a pretty well built planet change so that it is completely influence and morale buildings when I try to take the planet with influence. Just raise your espianage and look at the planet before your influence is flooding them, and you will probably see the same.

Not really. Building a morale structure on a precursor mine when there are empty tiles left on the planet is a bug, not AI strategy.

The AI shouldn't be building something on a Precursor mine other than a factory.

Whenever i take over a races planets at times they have WIERD structures like that. This doesn't always happen though, on homeworlds i see it a lot.
