Production bug - I'm getting frustrated with this!

I have recently noticed two very irritating production bugs. The game sometimes doesn't recognize a newly built factory on a planet, the number of production units just stays the same as before. For example, in my current game (it's very early on in 2225), I was building a basic factory on a colony, and just when it was completed I discovered xeno industrial theory, or whatever is the name of the tech which upgrades basic to "normal" factories. Anyway, I had an upgraded factory on a colony, and the planet still produced only 3 production units per turn, as if there was no factory. This happens often, the problem is solved if I save the game position and load it, but it is very frustrating being forced to keep eye on every colony for something that should work normally!
The second bug is that the program often "skips" production on a world in one turn. It is very noticable especially in the early colonization stage of the game, a factory would take more turns to build then what you see on the screen. 10 turns, then 9, then 8 turns, then, for example, the program "skips" a turn and tells you still need 8 turns, etc. Frustrating.
Have you experienced these bugs as well?

i've experienced something simular.
like when i start production of a ship on a planet, it says the ship will take 1 week to make.
IF i stay in the planetscreen 9 out of the 10 times it needs 2 weeks to make, not 1.
i've lost precious weeks because of this bug, and in the beginning i need those ships fast to conquer the other worlds.

I am experienced aslo, but with an added caveat............some times when I buid a ship or buy one because I am getting ready to get jumped by some alien invidels...........the ship stays in the star not finished with "0" weeks left. Kind of screws you when the stupid dregs are trying give it to you.

Whats up?

Yeah I get those errors too. Annoying since save & reload fixes it but I have to notice it is happening first! Its more obvious when it happens to tiles with bonuses like 300% manufacturing but thats not always the case. Also reloading the game takes you into that initial Turn where no production is progressed and no research is done.

And the "1 turn is really 2 turns to complete" is a regular feature of my early game. The building reports 1 turn to complete and hitting next turn gets it to ~99% and it wont actually be done until the next turn.

But I have never seen (or noticed) the skipping a turn when building something. I suspect that the production is working as it should but the turns reported to the user is rounded in some way that doesnt translate very well to integer values. But we can all guess...

The 0 weeks is correct though when you buy a ship. You have paid for all the construction that is left and you will get the ship next turn. That is normal.

I have updated the game from the basic 1.0 version for the first time today.
Truth be told, when I posted this question today, I expected that you would tell me "yeah, this was a bug, but it was fixed with a patch over a month ago". So I am disappointed to hear that it still persists in the updated version...

Yup, that's an old one. More info can be found here: https://forums.galciv2.com/?ForumID=274&AID=114923

You haven't lost anything. The planetscreen shows WRONG. The correct time can be seen in the civilisation manager. Hopefully, the devs will fix this display-bug for 1.2

do you mean it stays at 0 weeks left for ever, or appears at the next turn? as gmjapan said, its normal for a bought ship to appear on the next turn. but I did once have a bought ship which stayed on 0 turns forever. that was with 1.0X, not sure if it still happens. what version did you see it on?
