Tutorial visual locks up (sound just keeps going), but shift tab seems to get it back sometimes.

WinXP, all the patch. McAfee turned of. Anti-spyware turn off. Patched up to v 1.10. 1.8GHz machine running 756MB ram.
Tutorial will lock up the visual only. The lady seems to ramble on about races, but the cursor in the tutorial doesn't go anywhere. Shift+Tab to change to another application and then going back gets the tutorial's cursor to go again. My cursor works fine, but that lady's not keeping up w/her talking.
