Dyson Spheres

Has consideration been given to Dyson Spheres or the variations on the concept as a future enhancement?
For those of you not familiar with the concept, a Dyson Sphere is a theoretical object or series of objects orbiting a star to collect energy radiating from the star. The most popular idea is a solid shell completely surrounding a star but series of rings or independent satellites can also be considered Dyson Spheres. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyson_sphere)
For game play, these structures would provide credits depending on the type of star, the star's strength, and the coverage of the Sphere. This might require introducing a class system for stars similar to planets. The Spheres would likely be built by Constructors similar to Star bases. Each Constructor would allow a percentage of the star to be "covered" increasing the credits earned. If a Sphere is built on a star with habitable planets, the planet's class would decreases as more of the star is eclipsed. Depending if the structure begins at the star's equator or poles, the loss of habitable planet class could decrease disproportionately to the total star coverage. It would also provide a good use for "dead systems" where no habitable planets orbit a star.
