So, where is the Star Raider?

I have researched all the various technologies needed to get the Star Raider. Large Scale Building, Mass Drivers, and Titanium Armor. No Star Raider. I researched some minituarization techs ... No Star Raider. I visited the GalCiv2 Wiki ... No Star Raider. Does this ship just not exist?

It's a pirate ship. It's not available to the player, except through a bug that I think they fixed.

If you designed a ship and call it star raider, it would make the pirate ship. This bug is (I think) fixed. But you can build zomg pwnzzor ships by designing any crappy old ship at the beggining of the game and calling it the name of a excellent premade ship.

I had that happen to me once, but I haven't tried it again since 1.1.

It only worked with large hulls for me, but I heard that someone else got it to work with tiny hulls.
