Metaverse rewards constant play only.

Seems to me that continueous play wins over skillful play everytime on metaverse.....
More submissions = higher rank

I wouldn't say that it 'only' rewards constant play, but I definately agree that overall more playtime / games seems to be the largest factor in determining rank. Still, if someone plays the same amount on a harder difficulty they will have a higher score. It's hard to balance such things since I wouldn't want to see 1 suicidal game won using cheese tactics towards political victory count for 5x the points of a hard-earned tough game conquest victory. To survive on the higher difficulties I find it takes more exploitation of the AI rather than true strategic ability, so I wouldn't say that it is the ultimate factor in determining skill either.

There will never be a scoring system that everyone likes, but I think the current one is tolerable...

I will be curious to see how the scores shake out once Stardock updates the way the scores are calculated, as promised with the 1.1 patch....

this is a little off topic (just a little)

But what the hell is that Racial Victory Medal Uru?
From looking at your game history i would *ASSUME* it was that you won with all the races?

Honestly, I don't know for sure. I too assume that I earned that medal by winning with each race. It kind of appeared one day, after my 9th or 10th win. I'm not sure whether the "new" races (Korx, Thalan, etc.) count, or if it is just the "core" races (Yor, Drengin, etc.).

Not a whole lot of people have the "racial victory" medal - too many folks like their "custom" races - so I wear it with pride.
