High logistic scenario

Is there a way to choose your race?

I'm intrested in the scenarios with expremly high logistics, but it seems that in those you are limited to Drengin or Terran races. Is there a way to have high logistics without limiting any other aspect of the game (like choice of race)?

Also, is there a search function in these forums?

Well, yeah actually, but it means editing a game file. Back it up first.

Open this file in a text editor - C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\Data\English\Scenarios\_NameOfTheScenario_.gc2scenario

Change the number at the end of this line to correspond to whichever race you want to play as:
PlayerRace=0

Human=0
Drengin=1
Altarian=2
Arcean=3
Torian=4
Yor=5
Korx=6
Drath=7
Thalan=8
Iconian=9
Custom=10
