At last, you can have your very own shirt straight from the game. Play as any alien race you want? Now you can get a shirt to match!

Shirts come in 3 colors based on the race logo you choose. The "good" aligned races have white shirts, the "neutral" races are on grey shirts, and the black shirts represent the "evil" races in high quality pre-shrunk cotton. Sizes available are Large (42 - 44), XL (46 - 48) and 2XL (50 - 52).

Sounds like they know their customer base. Guild Wars did something similar; all the shirts they give out are XL.

One more thing to note that each shirt has written across the back of the shirt near the shoulder area, "www.GalCiv2.com" in nice big letters.

This is good news, but I'd like to suggest a few things. One, allow white/gray/black for any race. Two, upload some side images so we can see what the galciv.com text looks like. Three, allow small for the shirt size. Four, add more t-shirt designs! Some simple ideas are photoshopped text with the race's name and primary color. A racial saying that outlines their philosophy, or just a funny phrase, could be added as well. Here's an example: Link

Can we see some pics of someone wearing one of the T-Shirts? The logo's look strange to me ... way too small? I too would like to see a shot of the back of the shirt. And as Zanato said a pithy quote from the race would have been cool too. Are those logo's embroidered?

Actually, we do sell Stardock logo t-shirts in the store! They just don't say www.galciv2.com on the back.

To answer other questions:
Yes, the logos are embroidered on the shirts. The text on the back is silk-screened.
Yes, it would be very cool to be able to have any color shirt with any logo and a phrase or the race name also on the shirt, but I'm afraid that's not a possiblity at this time. We don't have a warehouse to store all of those different shirts!
Yes, the Snathi are very scary and I believe they will eventually take over the universe. Every time I see a squirrel I fall on my face and tremble with fear and try to curry favor so I won't be destroyed with the rest of the planet.

Awesome. I plan on purchasing some after pay day.

EDIT: 2 other shirts I thought about and would like to see: "I Beta Tested GC 2 and all I got was this lousy T-Shirt" and/or "I just conquered the galaxy and all I got was this lousy T-Shirt" Not that the t-shirts are lousy at all (just fabulous I plan to buy some) but the sayings are cool.
