Why can't you fight your own coustom race?

When you don't find any interest in any of the default races you create your own, but you can't fight your own custom race? Why is this? It would be fun to be your own worst enemy.

The custom race would also need a custom AI to go with it. I suppose if you could program that in (and no doubt somebody has or will, in Mods) then it would work.

You can't modify the AI. You can change their race's attributes all you want to make custom enemy races, all you have to do is edit the Raceconfig.xml

No, AI is coded. Modders haven't got access to the source code. So it's not moddable

Tou could put a type of AI into the custom race. For example: Torians don't fight the same way Drengins do, so if you want a war mongering race choose the Drengin AI.

Frogboy has hinted that we will be able to do this in the expansion, along with some limited user modification to the AI.
