Bug: Game automatically clicks "Turn" without my consent

V1.1

I have moved a couple fleets to attack planets, however I have a few fleets ready to invade, they have not moved yet, sitting there waiting for me to move them, and suddenly for no apparent reason, the game advances 1 turn despite the fact Im not done with my turn. I still have fleets to move and things to do and suddenly it is ending the turn for me. What the heck is going on?

If you have auto turn enabled, you can turn it off from the options menu.

Actually, sometimes the game wants you to do stuff with some of your ships before it actually continues on to the next turn. Once you finish doing the stuff, it suddenly jumps to the next turn.

I noticed that sometimes when I hit the close button on a planet or event window it sometimes also ends the turn...

The game seems to occasionally auto-turn for me as well, despite it being disabled. This mostly (or only?) happens after loading a save game.

I've noticed that the 'point of contact' with the mouse pointer isn't at the tip where you would expect.. it's more towards the middle of the icon.

I've found myself accidentially hitting 'Next Turn' when I meant to hit the 'done' button on the bottom right of the screen.

three potential issues here

1. The focus of the turn button overlaps into the mini map and a click intended for the map activates the the turn button. (annoying bug)
2. Skip move on end of turn will pause game until you have moved the ship or fleet in focus. Turn will continue as normal. (working as designed)

hint: Do not move any waypoints in this part of the turn. It will make your turn button go away almost for ever or until you can find ALL of the ships that were going to the old spot and manually change them all to the new point.

3. Auto end turn option in menu. (working as designed )

At a guess I would say you are suffering from issue 1.

Imagine my frustration having my home worlds in the bottom left of the mini map, every time I click on any of them it activates the turn button, lost many a battle because of this bug.

So click NEAR them and then click and drag the main window to get to them. Yeah, kinda a pain in the rear workaround, but until they fix the pointer focus it'll have to do. Although I've never personally seen the pointer focus issue. I have clicked turn instead of done, but that was a full blown case of the 'DOHS'.
