Lesson Learned

First time Ive ever purchaced your product, and I must say, two thumbs down. I spent more time trying to get this silly game updated and running only to find out I have to get my serial valadated AGAIN for my lap top! I just wanted relativly enjoyable game to play while Im on the road and or around the house and yours isnt it. PLEASE DONT make an expansion pack or for goodness sake a GalCiv III. I will say I did get the game to run on my home computer only to see it crash in the middle of a short session. So I guess Im back to solitare and looking for another genre.

To you I say: Moron. You think this is difficult? There's no destructive copy protection. You don't want it validated, then go use a starforce-protected game. You won't need a code, just regular trips to go buy new computers because they happen to have broken

How the crap did you expect it to know that it was your laptop? It's pathetically easy to register. And update. They tell you to have an available net connection, and you don't need to use the code to play, just to update.

I'll be honest. Stardock, I DEMAND an apology, for causing this poor person to spend time WORKING to register the game, as opposed to treating him like a criminal! What gives you the right to respect customers? I'm disgusted.

We need a funtion in the forums that allows us to slap "I'm Stupid!" signs on people that they have to wear for the rest of their gamming lives. Can we get that added soon?

So basically you had to update your video drivers (probably havent done in years) and maybe allocate a bit virtual memory (very very few people have to do this).

Do you own a car? Do you bitch about having to get an oil change? How about when your mom makes you clean your room?

Well Sludge, it seems quite obvious that solitaire is as complex as what you seem to be able to handle.

It sounds like you've been bumping around in your little red wagon and some how got it into your head that you were ready for an Airplane! No skate board, no car, just straight red wagon to airplane.

This game isnt hard to install or do any of the otherthings you claimed to have done... sheesh, some people just dont understand their limitations... go back to your coloring books.

Wow, jeez, just because the guy is having a few problems doesn't give the rest of us the right to call him names. Of course, for those of us who live in countries that allow for free speech, then yes, I guess the right is there, but the perogative to execute that right should be weighed against the potential of doing harm.

Or to put it simply, you're being too hard on the guy. You don't have to bust his balls because he doesn't like the game. He can get Stardock to help him, if he wants it. Otherwise, I say we let him be. His life is bleak enough in his world without GC2.

Nothing he said was constructive, so Im using my "free speech" to point out his idiocy,

He doesn't mention the game. He's mentioning registration and upgrading, which I let my eight year old nephew do.

Not WOULD let. He actually did it. He's eight, and he was quite capable of clicking "update serial", copying the serial, and "update game" and letting SDC handle it.

Yes, cause we can clearly see that you need such a sign.

Why can't anyone respect an original post. Why does everyone need to flame? But them I shouldn't talk, I flame the flamers.

Are you not an idiot for responding? As I am for responding to to.

Thumbwiz, were you dropped on the head as a child?

We aren't flaming. He made a post complaining, when there was no point to it. It is pathetically easy to update the game. Did you have difficulties?

It's also fairly easy to put things in one post as opposed to 4. You call me retarded? Hypocrite.
