Smoke a joint and when you feel tired about what you are doing it's because you need another one.

Do you really look at the top of your monitor when your conquering those pesky humans? Well, I don't do it, so it could benefit from an ingame clock.
Given that they try to convince you to play a few more turns when you try to quit...
I wouldn't expect them to put a feature like that in unless it were manipulated to display time more slowly to get you to play even longer than you really intended.
