At end here, minimizes game and does nothing. Reslecting brings up black background with Game Pointer. Shortly there after minimizes again.

Any Ideas on where to get a newer Audio Driver.

No promises, but try this HP drivers link.

Thanks, but they do not have one that is newer than the one I have, that won't fail. I even tried talking to their support team to see if they could recommend a compatible driver that would meet the requirement.

Current Display Mode: 1024 x 768 (32 bit) (72Hz)

Debug Message: Refresh rate: 60
Debug Message: Bit Depth: 32 bit.

Kind of a shot in the dark, but maybe run the refresh rates both at 60hz or 72hz.

I will look and see if there is a way to get newer audio drivers for you.

Thanks again for your help. Changing Display Mode to 1024 x 768 (32 bit) (60Hz) made all the diffenence. I have been able to load game and get to actual play twice now. The sound is a little jumpy, but I normally turn sound off while playing. Thanks again for your help. I completely looked past that. Sometimes it takes another set of eyes to find the small things right in front of us.

Glad that worked. I've not actually seen anyone post about refresh rates fixing an issue as they match up 99% of the time. I looked for about 20 min. for drivers and it seems the manufacturer is responsible for driver updates. If you can't get HP to support your audio, and you still want to work on it, then I'd advise getting a cheap dedicated audio card from wal-mart or something.

LOL, sorry about that. I have no idea about laptop audio. Someone else I helped with sound issues had quite a few links related to drivers for cards that are no longer supported. Hopefully you can find something that works. Links should all be in the second post from the bottom:
