Isn't there a way to tell it to ignore this file?

or maybe turn off AV while loading the game?

i used to have mcafee and got messages like this all the time, you can click "allow entire script to run this time" and continue to play but only do it for programs from a reliable source.

Looks like there is an option right on that screen called "allow entire script this time". Bet you can click on that and you'd be all set.

Better yet, just disable AV when you play a game. Disabling Firewall is a good idea too. Just make sure you reactivate it when you connect to the internet or finish playing the game.

I use McAfee and have no problems. You just have to click "allow entire script this time." At least with this message you know your protection is working.

Yes. I get this message to and I do click "Allow entire script this time." Every time I play the game. I wish there was a way to avoid it as stated above with out having to disable protection. But at least I know it's protected, as stated above.

It's a known issue (has been since before release), but unless you can set an exception for it, there's no way around it. The launcher uses VBscripts and McAfee, wonderful software that it is, detects ALL VBscripts as malicious regardless of what they actually do.

Yea, pretty much McAfee sucks.
