Demo based on version 1.1?

The demo available from the download section, is it based on the last public and stable build (1.1 if i'm right) ? Or is it still the original demo based on 1.0 version?
If the demo is not on the last buid, when will be available?
Due to the HUGE amount of changes described by Frogboy, I don't think that the old demo is anymore relevant of what is the game.
When saying huge amount of changes, I have no intention to critisize.

You have a point. I doubt the demo is 1.1 since it came out before 1.1 was released.

The demo is based on the v1.0X build of the game. We're not planning to release a new version of the demo at this time.

I think that a demo of the release version gives a good enough impression about GalCiv 2. And that's what a demo is about.

I still think a 1.1 for the demo would be a good idea. Stardock could even use it as a before and after thing.

Having two different demos would, more than likely, confuse the masses and rain flame messages down upon Stardock like a biblical plague. The K.I.S. (S.) method better serves in such instances and prevents confusion.
